BrewRatioNest provides general home coffee brewing calculations and explanatory content. A mass-ratio planner, not a measurement of extraction, caffeine, water chemistry or taste. The defaults are examples rather than a universal brewing prescription.
Check the real situation
A ratio does not capture grind size, pouring pattern, temperature or brew time. Hold those settings steady when exploring a different ratio. Record what you tasted along with the numbers. A more concentrated recipe is not automatically a better extraction, and the calculator cannot diagnose bitterness or sourness from mass alone.
A correct formula can still use an incomplete, unsuitable or incorrectly measured input. The output does not verify the source of an input. Confirm the material decision with relevant instructions, records and qualified assistance where appropriate.
